Remedial Massage Therapist
Tamala is a qualified remedial massage therapist, having completed her diploma with the Australian College of Massage in 2013, and is a current member of Massage and Myotherapy Australia. Tamala has completed further studies in Pregnancy massage, Hot stone treatments, Trigger point therapy, Balinese massage and is currently undertaking a course in Oncology massage.
Tamala specializes in treating people with chronic pain and stress related issues, using different techniques such as deep tissue, trigger point therapy, Swedish relaxation, remedial and stretching with the aim of getting you moving again. Tamala’s areas of expertise cover clients from all ages and stages of life, intuitively using the deeper techniques required for the active and gentler means for those who require a lighter healing touch.
Tamala originally studied massage in order to help her husband who had suffered injuries from a work accident, and as they say ‘she never looked back’.
Tamala is married with 5 children, and has experienced firsthand the benefits of massage during pregnancy, and the relief it can offer. Tamala lives with her family, chooks, fish, birds and bunnies, and enjoys running with her husband and playing netball to keep fit.
