Remedial Massage Therapist
Jennifer is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist. Born in Darwin, and daughter of a defence member who served in the Army for 20 years, Jennifer has lived in various states of Australia and currently resides in the suburb of Mandurah with her partner Dave and 4-year-old son Ben.
Jennifer completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage at the Australian Institute of Fitness in Perth and she is a member of the Association of Massage Therapists. Her appreciation for the power of remedial massage was discovered after experiencing back injuries first hand through intensive dance training. Jennifer now transmits this healing power to all of her clients and she loves seeing results & improvements in all of them.
Jennifer uses a wide range of techniques to treat her clients such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release and trigger point therapy. Jennifer is also passionate about teaching self-care to her clients, using stretching techniques in remedial treatments and strengthening advice for clients needing rehabilitation for injuries.
On a personal level, Jennifer is an avid tea drinker. She loves tea, flowers and all things vintage. She is passionate about gardening and is currently working on vegie patches at home and enjoying reaping the rewards of home-grown organic produce. She also enjoys engaging in crafty projects with her family, being outdoors and is a passionate dancer and dance teacher. The later branches off from full time study at Youth Ballet (Cert 3 Ballet Performance) and Principal Academy of Performing Arts (Diploma of Performing Arts Dance). In her downtime she still takes class 5 times per week.
Jennifer is eager to continue growing as a massage therapist and is currently expanding her knowledge and skill set to include new techniques like Emmett therapy and myofascial cupping. As a Remedial Massage Therapist, Jennifer loves working with injuries and people from all walks of life and it is this passion that has brought her to the East West Natural Medicine Group; and we love having her here.
